Full construction from foundation to roof of a metal structure at the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Laurel, MD. The building replaces an existing structure that is no longer serviceable for the science that was ongoing. MK Development performed classroom layout reconfiguration at the Loudoun Campus LD Building Music Lab to accommodate new sound booths. The work included door relocation, new acoustical ceilings, wall treatment matching, lighting relocation, HVAC upgrades, and fire alarm autocall system connections.
Structural and aesthetic improvements to the administration's Wooden Storage Building at the La Plata, MD Facility. Improvements included demolition of a mezzanine area, new keyed joint concrete slab, asphalt pavement, safety bollards, structural reinforcement to wooden structure members, gutters and paint. All work was completed to strict SHA specifications and guidelines within budget and schedule limitations. No modifications were issued to the project.
Fit out of 2,500 square feet office suite including construction to ANSI and ADA standards.
